Contributing to the overall design system at Grainger is no small feat. Having a shared design language empowers teams to collaborate more effectively. Since marketing was not involved in creating a design system we’ve adopted into a preexisting system as well as creating space for our marketing initiatives. This led to a closer partnership between UX and our team to create a set of standards for design and code along with components. The level of involvement from our company’s range of disciplines and experience levels all serve the system, but it takes a close partnership to successfully create a seamless experience for our customers.

UI Component Design and UX Collaboration

I played a significant role in developing UI components for Grainger.com's design system, working closely with UX teams to create a cohesive and user-friendly online experience. Key aspects of my capabilities include:
